Every Raster Navigation Chart (RNC) that NOAA publishes. This covers the entire United States and all of its Possessions. There are more than 2200 charts on the DVD in the standard BSB/KAP format. They are updated weekly so you will receive the latest editions. NOAA Raster Navigational Charts® are full-color, geo-calibrated, high detail, digital images of NOAA's entire suite of paper charts. They display beautifully with all the details found on the paper charts that you are used to using. They are better though, because you can overlay electronic navigation elements right on top of the chart. Examples of these elements are your position, marks, tracks, routes, bearings, and distances.

NEW View the NOAA AWOIS wreck positions and data on Google Earth. Included on the DVD is an up to date Google Earth overlay showing every wreck and obstruction in the NOAA AWOIS database in its listed position on the earth’s surface. Hover over a place mark and its name is displayed. Click on a place mark and its information is displayed.

The SeaClear II manual, Coast Pilots, American Practical Navigator, and Navigation Rules are all in adobe acrobat reader (pdf) format making them very easy to use. Acrobat reader is included on the DVD if you don't have it.

Add a GPS receiver to your laptop and SeaClear II will automatically load the correct chart and display your position and navigation data on screen. Turn on the automatic feature and your position will be shown in the center of a moving map. Create tracks, find distances, bearings and more with the click of a mouse. All of this is menu driven including the option to install SeaClear II and the charts on your hard drive. This makes the system very user freindly. Hardware requirements are minimal. SeaClear II will run fine on a 233 mhz computer.

CDs with limited chart areas are also available if you do not have a DVD player in your computer. They are menu driven and contain SeaClear II, the SeaClear II user manual and the charts for the areas listed below (sorry not enough room on a cd for all the other goodies). Please note that all the charts for every area listed below are included on the DVD.

Area 1 & 2: Florida East and West coast including the Okeechobee Waterway, the Keys, the Dry Tortugas, the Gulf of Mexico and the Straits of Florida (89 charts). Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina (57 charts).

Area 3: Maryland, Virginia, Washington DC, Delaware and Pennsylvania. This includes the Chesapeake Bay and all its tributaries, the Delaware Bay, Delaware River and the C&D canal (62 charts).

Area 4: New Jersey, New York and Connecticut including the Long Island Sound, Hudson River, Delaware River and Delaware Bay (68 charts).
